Bagi teman-teman yang membutuhkan contoh prosedur mengajar , kali ini saya berikan contoh mengajar pronuciation untuk melatih melafalkan kata dalam Bahasa Inggris

Tongue Twisters Game

Material                      : Pronunciation

Time                           : 10 minutes

Level                           : Begining - Intermediate

Techniques                 : Instructions, team work

Functions                   : To practice pronouncing specific English sounds

Media                         :

1.      Paper

2.      Boardmarker

3.      Whiteboard

Procedure                  :

1.      Introduce some sounds students are practice, e.g., /f/ and /v/; /p/ and /b/; /s/ and /Š/, etc.

2.      Elicit from the students some words using the sounds.

3.      Place the students into four groups and ask each group to stand in a row.

4.      Distribute short, typed tongue twisters (see samples) to the first student.Take away the strips of papers because this student should memorize and repeat them to the next student in line.

5.      When they reach the last student, this student must write the tounge twisters on the board.

6.      The group with the most tongue twisters is the winner.

Tongue Twisters for sample :

-          A big black bug bit the big black bear, but the big black bear bit the big black bug back

-          Four furious friends fought for the phone

-          I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream

-          I saw Susie sitting in a shoe shine shop

-          I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish

-          she sells shells by the seashore if the shells she sells are not sea shore

Tongue Twisters for play :

-          Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

-          A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.

-          If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

-          Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.

If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
